1991 Mercedes Benz W126 420SEL.
The last year of the last true Mercedes Benz. "S" is the S-class, "E" is fuel-injected gasoline, "L" is for LONG wheelbase. Considered the supercar of its' time. The "Diplomat's Car." The brain-child of renown designer Bruno Sacco. This particular model was custom ordered and made in Stuttgart. It has been single-family owned and has resided only in Southern California. Garaged its' entire life, we do not consider it a car but rather "a family heirloom." Have a look and experience why Mercedes Benz uses the slogan, "The Best or Nothing." In this installment we examine the not-often-viewed underside of the remarkable automobile.
