The G.O.C and the S.C.P.F. recognize each other as (although they both believe the other is taking the wrong approach) useful, powerful, and in the grand scheme of things, beneficial to the world. The G.O.C. recognizes the far superior knowledge and the noble goals of the S.C.P.F., and the S.C.P.F. recognizes the incredible strength & valor and the willingness to defend humanity at all costs of the G.O.C. The G.O.C. often passes threat entities to the S.C.P.F. for containment when they find that they are incapable of destroying it, and the S.C.P.F. has called in the G.O.C. multiple times in the past to help when they need something neutralized ASAP. In most apocalypse canons (aside from rogue faction canons like the alternate universe within S.C.P. 5000) the S.C.P.F. and the G.O.C. join forces at least temporarily at some point. Neither one is good, neither one is evil. They are simply two organizations trying to save the world in two different ways.
