Honestly, I don't think Naruto and Ichigo's end hairstyles look that bad. I don't think the hairstyles themselves are bad, just unfitting. Naruto has a rather large face and slightly pointy ears, so if his hair was just a bit longer, his ears wouldn't look as pointy and his face wouldn't get more focus than it needs. Ichigo's face is long with a pointy chin and a rather large forehead (not very large thoug, or maybe it just looks a little large because he has a long face), so really short hair without bangs makes his face look too long, though not outright bad in my opinion, just distracting. However, I think it got fixed in chapter 687, where his hair has more volume and this makes his face look slightly wider, thus making it look slightly less long, especially his forehead. For Deku there is no defense, he looks like a pineapple (from the right side anyway). It really makes no sense, since Deku has dense, wavy hair that could've covered his head scars, including the ones of the face if he chose to let his hair grow some.
