How pastors interupt the spirit of God is by getting up to preach, placing preaching above the presence of God!

Pastor Locke, I am SO happy that I found this, and that I found this. I am of the Orthodox Faith, But I don't go to my church. Why?? One is of the Russian Orthodox faith, and the other is a Greek Orthodox, which what I was cremated in, BUT they have a dress code, and has told me that we better dress proper:-( I am a disabled 66 yr old, and my husband is a 72 yr old non practicing catholic, but follows my faith, but I have no bible teraching, which I miss, cause I have trouble learning by words without an exp[lnation of what I am reading and so I have trouble understand the bible though I read it, I confess i do not read as often as I would like to, and THIS helps me to understand some of the Bible, so Thank you. WOW!!! I never completly UNDERSTTOD why, in our tradtitions, during our Pascha [ Easter ] why the door is closed, and why everyone stands with just a lit candle, and there are three knocks at the church door, and the last knock, it is opened, and the candles are blown out. NOW I see Why, It is the SPRIT wanting to come in, while we are all still standing in darkness, and when the door is finally open, we are no longer in darkness needing the light of a candle, but we are in the light of the HOLY SPIRIT!! THANK YOU PASTOR LOCKE!!! i GET SOME OF IT NOW!

I just got burned by the "church ladies group leader" for mentioning I'm going to the movie tonight and asking if anyone was going.
She started telling the group that she's "heard" bad things about this Pastor and to use discernment.
Boy oh boy did I want to go off. But I did not.
Verge of tears since I just moved to a new state and have only been going to this church for about a month.

Humans have the fear of theunknown. The Holy Spirit is an unknown entity of the Trinity because most humans have no been born again by the Holy Spirit. The may have been saved but if they were born again, they would know the Holy Spirit because it would be within them. As it is they have the Spirit giving life that God gave Adam when he was created. Humans have a fear of the unknown and they avoid it. Other reasons Greg is speaking about.
