No one is considering the problems faced by Msme . Hoped, post covid, we would have been more humble and grateful but the 'macro' etc glamour talks never recede. Msme are, and appropriately so, form the backbone of a large populated country, such as ours.

It was very illuminating to listen to Mohandas Pai and the guest from US.
You threw light on some plain macro economic facts which were not being used in India to prop up our growth.
I think US and Japan being in a low interest rate cycle affords us an opportunity to leverage our balance sheet and go for some ballistic infra spending.

Any progress in large scale improvement in MSME sector is solely dependent on getting disciplined & semi skilled labour which is getting scarcer. Talking only about large-scale, auto, banking & tech sectors is futile, which covers only the educated & skilled/semi skilled workforce.

Growth figures projected by the Govt and other institutions seem misplaced. If we are to grow at 12 percent then with a capital output ratio of 4, we would need an aggregate investment of 48 percent of GDP. Govt itself os saying that the aggregate investment would be 31 percent. How does one explain this anomaly?

Paiji should stop having a chip on his shoulder and keep repeating the advantages US has such as having the world’s currency, how rich they are and try hard and keep on saying “we too are doing very well”. India is unique and cannot be compared to US. It is ok to acknowledge the metrics but is like comparing apples with pears.
