The thing about a woman trapped in a forest with a bear or a man, everyone chooses bear because there is the implication that the men will r*pe them, despite so few men actually being monstrous enough to do that. So a fitting counterbalance to that, is would a man rather be trapped in the woods with a bear or a woman who would falsely accuse the man of r*pe once they got out. In which case 100% of men would take the bear, and take their chances trying to survive than deal with their entire life being torn to shreds and living with that false accusation for the rest of their lives. The whole premise of this question is to assume the absolute worst of each other.

One of the most amazing things to me was how many details women share about their men with other people. After my 2nd divorce, I was finding out from friends and acquaintances that she'd been sharing very intimate details with everyone behind my back. They knew more about my marriage than I did, it seemed. They knew things I thought were private between a husband and wife. Im a disabled combat vet, and her friends seemed to know all the details of my diagnosis the troubles I had and what meds I took. At this point Id have to find out if that tree identified as female before I spoke to it.

Depressing that we have reached this point where men are afraid of their partners (usually women) weaponize their vulnerabilities against them and women afraid of being alone with men in the woods, we gotta start changing *for the better* - even if I have to become the best *tree* there is!

Having shared my most intimate thoughts and feelings with a tree and also with a woman, I can say from experience that the tree always has better outcome. Trees are better listeners, they care about you more than women do, and they don’t weaponize your feelings against you. 100% going with a tree.

I quit talking about feelings a long time ago. Instead i started actually thinking about them and the situations i was in; what led to them. I think that's helped me be a better person more than talking through things with someone else.
