Mustang GT500 vs Corvette ZR1 // Street Race Comparison!

2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 vs 2019 Chevrolet C7 Corvette ZR1. Both the top of their class, these two amazing vehicle recently arrived at Hennessey for 1000 HP upgrades and we just had to see how they'd line up next to each other during their baseline testing. Since I was a kid my dream car is chevy Corvette. I will buy used Corvette. Zo6 or zr1. Mustang and Corvette great muscle cars though.. im chevy guy

The best way to accelerate any C7 Covette while rolling is to quickly apply full throttle and release, this will enable car to gets into power band by dropping a few gears (and activating active performance shift)and then stab the throttle and see it fly.

I lean towards Chevy's, but man, hearing those two American muscle cars roar, made me feel proud for both Ford and Chevy. Can't go wrong with either.

I had a supercharged C7 Z51 A8. That 8 spd auto actually shifts faster if you let it do it instead of paddle shifting. There's a slight delay in upshifts and downshifts with the paddles on C7's

Surprised the gap wasn't much bigger!!! Mustang is completely out classed!! Not only is the vette quicker but it handles way better as well!! The C7 ZR1 is an absolute beast!!!
