My Miracle Baby-Story of Fetal Hydrops

This video is about Greylen's story. He was given a very grim diagnosis of Fetal Hydrops in utero and we truly did not know if this baby would ever make it home with me. I want to share his story with the world!! Please help me share this video!!

Updating I have now reached 29 weeks and 4 days my baby's fluid has not changed or spread or increased but I have more amniotic fluid than I should. I could go in to labour anytime now the goal is 34 weeks. This is such an inspiration to me and my wriggles and your baby is beautiful how is he now?

Thank you for sharing your story. Currently 20 weeks with oligiohydramosis and fetal hydrops. It’s the most gut wrenching feeling I have ever experienced, I feel numb but also shattered. Praying for my baby to make it into my arms😓 x

We found out 3 weeks ago when my wife went into early labor that our baby boy has hydrops. We were life flight to the nearest level 3 NICU an hour later. The goal was to stop delivery for 24 hours to get a second steroid shot for his lungs. His lungs and heart were compressed from the fluid and we were told he will not live. We were 2 hours short of getting that shot when my wife started bleeding heavily. Emergency c-section followed. Baby Olen Austin was bourn at 30 weeks. The high risk team managed to get his lungs expanded to 3 ribs and got his blood oxygen levels up very quickly. He should be completely off life support in another week or 2. We will likely never know what caused it but we don’t really care as it has corrected itself over time. He is now 3Lbs 14 oz. He lost over 2 pounds of fluid in 2 weeks. We were told we will be taking home between 3-6 weeks. Best worst experience of my life. I only now got brave enough to get online to see just how serous Hydrops is in the world. We are so very blessed. I’m so happy for you and your family. I’m so happy you fought for your child. Mulch love.

Your family is definitely blessed and one of the Lucky ones such a touching story. My baby girl passed 7 years ago from hydrops she was 26 weeks when they decided to give me a emergency C-section and bring her into this world she only made it 11 days before her passing.im so happy to see you had a happy ending to this unfortunate situation♥️
