You've played it before, but just so you know, the first mission is still part of the tutorial and therefore doesn't have an active timer that runs out. It waits until you follow the goal, so if you delay picking up the antenna you have all the time in the world to scrap down all cars and stuff and build a stock for parts later.
I went through 3 grinders in the first mission ;)

Finally back to pacific drive you started this and the viking game and the waterworld game and then just left them all for palworld and that made me sad :( lol JK glad your back to some interesting content again. keep it up

lol, I graduated in '96, was living in the pacific northwest in '98 (Vancouver BC) so this is right up my alley geographically :)
eta: I love how the first zone (and most of the zones ive seen in the early looks) are called "damp forest" lol, damp is generally an understatement in the pacific northwest ;)

My son was born in 98. About 3 weeks later we had a f-4 tornado take everything we owned. Good thing we had insurance. I also got married to my son's dad. We also had a contractor screw us over, so instead of me staying at home with my son. I had to get a job.

Born in 1965.... First non commodore computer was a samsung 8086 version. When I put in the 5.25 " floppy disk it said a:\> No clue what to do next :) Then I bought a hercules monochome graphics card and entered hex code from a magazine directly into memory - my gaming world changed :)

In 98 I... was at the tail end of my military training school and then off to my first ship. That aside, there was already some changes since the demo version you and others played. Can't wait for tomorrow on my end to get into this myself. I'm sure I'll enjoy it as much as you do/did.

Game will come out on February 22nd Officially on PC, thanks to Kage for early gameplay today. But I want to become a car driving survivalist on the highway in later days.
