I think internal batteries would make it absolutely worthwhile, but we'll have to see how it actually comes out when people get their hands on some. I have an x6100 because I'm a huge software tinkerer, but that itself is a turn off for many who want a fully polished product. Thanks for the video!

I'm sure this Xiegu is going to be a fine radio but for it's price, if I was new to the hobby I'd think I'd might choose a second hand ft-817nd may cost a little bit more but you get some extra band's 160m 2m and 70cms being a all mode radio having the option to use FM.

Is the same bit of nonsense in the XIEGU G106 HF like in the first XIEGU you know had a secret menu that let you play some NINTENDO games.

Sorry, but this device is totally overpriced in my opinion. I've bought a G90 for about 400€ and a G1M for about 200€. Both are nice devices. But this is the replacement for the G1M and is not comparable to the G90...

Beautiful product but left something to be desired in the battery. in qrp a radio like this without battery and unfeasible and as it only reaches 5w if it is at 13.8v it is difficult to do something about it in sota with traditional lipo batteries.

Seeing it on eBay today for $320 USD, about $120 USD less than the G90
