I hope this video is helpful! I really hate when things just slip under the radar and we get blindsided. 👀 I do hope any changes will be more considered than normal, but I won't be holding my breathe! Whatever the changes may be come April - I'll keep you posted and we'll get through them together 🙂

If any politicians are reading this, any reduction or changes to S&S ISA will screw up my retirement planning, I will never vote for you again. We need to tax income less and wealth more, but that should not mean impacting ISAs, which are one of the few mechanism that help us working classes get ahead a tiny bit.

The ISA allowance is one of the few positive things about the U.K

The super rich won't really care about the £20k ISA allowance. The ones that benefit from the ISA are the working class.

£100k is so far away from rich it’s a joke

Honestly, this whole economic mess is terrifying. The constant changes in policies, the way savings options are being messed with, it feels like no matter what we do, we’re just at the mercy of bad financial planning at the top. How are regular people supposed to secure their futures when even something like an ISA can suddenly become a target?

ISA allowance one of the only reasons I can cope with living in the uk…the positives are only shrinking.

if ISAs are taxed there is no point saving or working

The UK will never make a mark in AI because AI datacentres use huge amounts of electricity. No company would be stupid enough to invest here.

Labour hasn't been a party for working people since Harold Wilson and the voters need to swallow that reality in future elections

I classic wealthy economist can't understand why the poor don't utilise ISA's well. Probably because we are just scrapping enough to cover rent and the ever increasing bills. I agree the Cash ISA is an economically dead product, it adds nothing to the economy just sits there. While the Stocks and Shares ISA is economically active something Governments want and need. So maybe cap the Cash ISA and give a boost to the S&S ISA. Then again the way things have been going this decade I'm getting ready to jump ship

Labour, I simply despair at them, they are a party for the lazy and useless! Hardworking people who sacrifice their now for a better life later are pulled back down by labour over and over again.

The government will always Move the goalposts to benefit them.

£20k is getting smaller and smaller. Interactive investor said it’s not realistically going to happen and spoke about his previous pension / isa positions.

The UK Government of both colours has been anti-business my whole adult life, and I am now in my mid-40s. Businesses are seen as something to bleed dry.

The biggest problem facing business and individuals is energy costs in this country. The idea they want to be a world leader in energy-intensive AI would be hilarious if i lived somewhere else. It is totally unaffordable, and they appear to be doing nothing about it with Net Zero Zealot-In-Chief Ed Milliband in charge of the department. A man i wouldn't trust to guard the pencil sharpeners.

ISAs work for people at the top. That's a joke. ISA is the only thing that has got me to start saving just a month and a half into my journey with about £1900 into my ISA. Deffinatly not wealthy. A cap is a stupid idea. The ISA is fine how it is most people won't put £20, 000 a year away anyway and why should they care the total value it grows to. We still get taxed on are income going into the ISA and when we eventually retire will get taxed on everything we buy. How much tax do you need. Leave us alone. ISA helps everyone not just wealthy. Any wonder people struggle to save when we start saving and hear news like this. Greedy governments. If the ISA goes there is zero reason to stay in the UK. So many wealthy individuals already left the UK. What a way to push more people away. Don't they see these changes of short term gain do nothing but harm the economy and cause more and more people to leave. Meaning they get less in income tax etc. well done UK government

You will own nothing and be happy….. this will also just push people towards property investments, raising house prices and leaving ordinary people even further from owning a first home

It’s little wonder more people prefer to invest in USA than UK, I feel like we’re circling the drain.

Torsten Bell is a typical example of a smart middle class economist that has no idea about human behaviour. Every change he proposes is hugely anti-aspirational. People will not be able to retire if all of their ISAs and pensions are taxed to oblivion.

The emphasis on having a clear exit strategy is crucial, especially after experiencing the volatility of previous bull and bear markets. It’s refreshing to see the focus on setting realistic goals and understanding the why behind profit-taking. This approach not only prepares you for unexpected market shifts but also keeps you grounded during the emotional rollercoaster of trading. It’s a valuable reminder that crypto investing should ultimately serve our personal aspirations, rather than just becoming a game of chasing numbers. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $200k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months...Thanks to Laura Brockman insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Kudos to the journey ahead!
