What's up guys? This video is a meaningful video, because we're opening up and getting real about how to address discrimination and systematic racism as entrepreneurs. Listen, when entrepreneurs see a problem, we don’t just jump right in - we educate ourselves, have conversations with our team, and figure out actionable steps to be a part of the solution. That’s the approach my team has taken to address discrimination.

None of us are perfect, including me, but we all need to be willing to keep learning and listening to the experiences of those around us to help create a better world. Thank you to my buddy and fellow Shark Mark Cuban for being a part of this honest, open talk. We need more conversations like this one!

Accomplishment is from a very high valued mind set. It's quite evident in these two gentlemen.

Defunding police doesn't mean to get rid of the police. It means diverting some of their billions on helping the community and programs that have been shown to decrease crime and not use the the money to militarize the police with military grade weapons and vehicles. By the way there are cities that have defunded police and crime went down and community policing is working because the cops and citizens actually know each other and work together.

My Mother Rose Marie (Trad) Ribble was a racist. She died 11/14/2020. She was a staunch Roman Catholic. I can only hope God forgave her & that she really is with God in Heaven. My Aunt Hannah Trad tells me she can feel my Mother's spirit all around her. I don't feel my Mother's Spirit around me, ever. I think she's just gone. I hope she's in Heaven with the Lord.

Sorry I got to go with Mark on this one when it comes to defund the police. It seems like you are trying to play the line on this one Daymond. I'm not saying defund them, but I am saying that we need to be careful with how we as black people react to the topics or we risk telling people indirectly that we think there is no problem and everything is fine and dandy. Military had a harder job and they don't get away with killing foreign civilians. Police definitely don't get an excuse. Your Starbucks analogy was on point.

Businesses should stay neutral. Cause you can hurt sales by picking a side on an issue. Doesnt matter what you think is right or wrong. Picking sides alienates a potential customer.
