How to do a Fishtail Braid on the Scalp

Hey GlamFam! So I often see people attempt to do a french braid at the top and a fishtail at the bottom, in this video I show you have to get a consistent fishtail braid to the scalp, from top to bottom! I give you techniques to help you braid like a pro, and prevent you from causing traction alopecia, and show you how to make your braids look neat and even. This type of braid is also frequently referred to as a french fishtail braid.

This looks great! I can do french braids and a regular braid on someone else much easier than myself nowadays lol but years ago I could do it on myself with ease! Lol I so out of practice 😂. I feel like my greatest challenge when doing this on my own hair is the hair starts to tangle and its hard to hold the braid taut and detangle the loose hair.
