Reverse {Inverse} Fishtail Braid | Thanks for 1,000,000 Subscribers!

I know that Fishtail Braids are raging right now, particularly any that deviate a little from the standard fishtail braid. We have seen photos on Pinterest of this style, but I did not know how to create one.

As you know, the stitches on a standard Fishtail Braid have a "v" pattern. Well, a Reverse {or Inverse} Fishtail Braid has a "^" pattern which is very different than what you see around.

I spent a few hours last week practicing on my mannequin head, and as I completed the first five stitches or so, it seemed like I was doing something wrong! Just when I figured I would give up, all of the sudden... the braid popped out! A beautiful inverse herringbone pattern!

I then recreated it on CGH#3, and had her show Bailey, her older sister. Bailey quickly asked... "How did you do that? I want to learn it!" So, last week, we were pretty much wearing reverse fishtail braids every day!

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 hair band, 1 small hair elastic, hairspray and accessory {if desired}.

oh my god!! i just want to say that this worked perfectly on my hair with layers. it seemed to work better on my hair than the normal fishtail and it was sooo much easier to do. it holds my layers in easier for some reason and works 10000 times better. thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!

Its weird because I used to do a reverse fishtail all the time thinking i was doing a fishtail because i always pass 3 strand braid underneath so i did the same with a fishtail and i find inverse fishtails easier than normal fishtails but at least i can do both without even realising till now
