I wanted to make a cross-cut sled that was safer to use. This cross cut sled features push handles on each side of the blade and a blade guard. You can also clamp down small parts and cut miters with the adjustable fence. Amazon and other affiliate links are used in this description and they help support this channel.

Hello Matt, hello YouTube viewers, I’ve been following Matt for a long while now he’s lifted me, and encouraged me, I love his channel and what he stands for, Matt thanks for the videos they help soooo much, I’m gonna ask in return if you all would keep my wife Phyllis in your prayers, she was admitted into the hospital today, they’re running tests so we don’t know what’s wrong yet, but god’s will will be done thank you all, and a fist bump for y’all 👊

I’ve had plans to make a sled so many times, but always put it off for something else. This one was really well done, my favorite part it honestly is the handles

Don’t no why I haven’t make a sled yet. It’s been on my “to do list”. That keeps getting on the back burner. When I do it. I’ll definitely check out your plans. Love how it’s safer looking and multifunctional. Keep up the work. Love what you do. Thank you.

Downloaded your plans for this because I am starting to introduce my grandkids to woodworking … SAFELY. The download process was flawless and instant. Also … thank you so much for raising the flag regarding your faith.

Matt...so many reasons to love this video and your channel in particular. But the best? Offering the free version of this sled if someone had bought the earlier version. Thank you, Sir, for being you. Keep up the great work.

This is really clever. I've watched a lot of your videos and gotten many good tips, but this is by far your best tip/jig/gadget. Not seen anyone make one quite like this. Well done and thanks alot.

That's definitely the Most Coolerest table saw sled I've ever seen. When I get around to building one, it'll be cause I've moved on building primarily interior furniture, or it'll because I had to give up the day job to do wood stuff full time.

This table saw sled was my first summer project after getting a new table saw. Next the kids wanted a gaming table so I built the SuperPly Gaming Table by Gordon Frank. In the process i purchased many, many accessories that you reviewed and recommended. They are too numerous to list but they made my work so much easier and safer. One I will mention was the Bow XT Xtender. Cutting large pieces of plywood and lumber all by myself was so much easier with this product you recommended. In all it has been a great summer getting back into woodworking and I have totally enjoyed your videos. It appears you have found your niche leaving your previous career path. Keep the videos coming! Thank you!

Matt I haven't seen one of your videos in a little while and you've really stepped up your game on presentation and smooth video work. I know a lot of work goes into the backend to pretty everything up but it looks great.

And that sled looks great too. I also appreciate that you offered a free update to folks who might have purchased the old plans. Speaks of your character.

The dowel handle is brilliant! I don’t think I have ever seen that before. Thanks.

So I asked for these plans from Santa and finally built this today. SOOOO much better than my old sled. Half the weight which I love and the dovetail clamps are awesome. I'll have this for a long long time!

Pretty nice sled, I like how it's just enough not gadgety and straight forward, looks like it's simple enough for someone just starting also so I'll be able to recommend it to new woodworkers.

Great design for a safe cross cut slide. Like the idea of the handles to keep your hands away from the blade. Got the plans and they made it easier to follow step by step. Now just waiting for ordered parts. Thanks for sharing.

I just want to say, it's been a while since I had done some woodworking. I found so many channels out there, when I found yours, It was night and day. Completely different. I love your videos and the way you go about your builds and having plans for everything. You have an amazing woodworking channel and your wife is great. Watching you both on your Q and As are awesome. She is so supportive just like my girlfriend. It's great to see some quality work and videos. You have great pieces and great videos. Keep it up. I'll be building a sled for my new table saw in the next few weeks. Keep it up Matt.

I've used God knows how many stop "blocks " in the 30 + years of woodworking. Saw the one from jkm and I've never looked back. That has to be the best stop block I've ever used.
