The first trailer for the new Minecraft movie dropped, and fans aren’t exactly excited about it. Having real life actors dropped into the beautiful block world doesn't make sense logically… but it does financially!

The Dog-Man movie is already a more faithful adaptation than the Minecraft Movie will ever be and it only has one trailer at the moment.

Why not pull a Lego Ninjago Movie?
Two worlds, human and Minecraft.
That way you get an animated movie and to bolster actors.

Though the irony to the "realistic animations" point is that a Minecraft movie never needed high end animation in the first place. The fact that the world is mostly blocks and cubes really simplifies the process when you don't overthink the depth of animation needed to appease fans of minecraft.

they don’t need to green screen the movements they just need to animate it the same way they do there trailers it would cheaper then putting non animated into and animated movie

I actually think with some upgrades to the world, it can be great. I once read a book, where a guy woke up in a Minecraft world, he remembered our world but was now stuck in this world of squares. The story was fantastic and I belive if the movie follow something similar, explaining Steve's origin as someone trapped and the others helping him escape, it could be an absolute hit in the theaters. But hey that’s just a theory, a film theory, thanks for reading.
