I Love this tablet. it is what I call a Nononsense tablet. If you just need some light use, this is the one to go. It just works. I am doing my masters so I have some books to read, I take notes in a normal paper notebook so I dont mind the lack of support´for the facy pencil. Reading comics is a hobby of mine and Marvel unlimited looks AMAZING here, plus the occasional movie, youtube video. I got mine in a "No VAT day" (it is like a black friday here in Colombia) for almos half the retail price so great value here. I saw no reason to buy an Ipad Air just to use it in the way I use my tablet, specially since I have no apple products.

I bought the 128 gig 4ram version for work (and a keyboard and mouse) use notes, email, 2 excel sheets, kindle and Microsoft office all open at the same time. Have 512 gig sd card and it never crashes. Replaced my laptop no problems

I have this one coming tomorrow from second hand tomorrow barley used though and I got it for £100!! I have an S22+ so it's only to save battery on that for some light gaming and watching videos. Can't wait.

Considering Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus w/32 GB storage & 2 GB RAM for $155 vs Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus w/64 GB storage & 4 GB RAM for $170. vs Samsung Tab A8 w/32 GB storage & 3 GB RAM for $229 vs Samsung Tab A8 w/64 GB storage & 4 GB RAM for $279. This will be my first tablet; will mostly use for reading e-books, browsing internet, email, maybe an occasional video or you tube, storing and viewing a small amount of microsoft word and pdf files. May store a couple of e-books and a couple of videos. I mainly use a laptop, but want something smaller for convenience, as I am having shoulder surgery and the laptop is too bulky/heavy for ease of use. I understand Lenovo Tab M10 with Android 9 may be limited in updates/OS upgrades as compared to Samsung Tab A8. Would appreciate your advice!

I bought this because the saleslady said that the camera was really good but I sell clothes online and anything other than black and white is probably not going to come out the right color. I have tried everything I could figure out to make it better to no avail. Is it possible it is the camera and not me (Samsung A8) ?

I wanted to order the 4G version...but then I thought "Could I use my mobile as a surf hotspot"...yes, I could pair my old Samsung via BlueTooth so one could save some money not to buy the 4G version.
It bothers me that my 7 years old Samsung Tab 510 has a Retina-like screen (2500 x 1600, 250 USD) but after 7 years I don't see any improvements, only a higher Android version which I don't have, since the purchase during Black Friday, I'll see what I get for 150 USD. (in Swedish crown)

Got the Samsung A8 last week. I am not impressed. It lags often and sometimes does not respond. Turning everything off does not speed this up at all. I have found that the Samsung Web Browser works best on it. I had similar/previous experiences with their tablets. I think I am returning it and getting the iPad 9 64. IT JUST WORKS!! But I hate the Apple Store. .. A8 screen is okay and I like the thinness of it. Looks really cool too, but that's about it.
