Are you ready to uncover one of the biggest engineering marvels in history? Join us as we explore China's Massive 10 Billion Canal Project, also known as the Pinglu Canal, and discover how it's transforming the landscape and economy of the region.

In this video, we will examine the strategic significance of the Pinglu Canal for China's economic development, water resource management, and geopolitical interests.

This ambitious undertaking will connect the Yellow River with the Yangtze River, two of the most important waterways in China. Once completed, the Pinglu Canal will provide significant efficiency gains in commodity transportation, lower shipping costs compared to railway transportation, and support the growth of the agricultural sector in Guangxi Province.

Despite concerns raised by some European engineers, the strategic significance of the Pinglu Canal project cannot be ignored. It will bring significant economic benefits to the region and China as a whole.

Suggestion instead of showing boats going down the river, show a map overlay of how the canals will connect the rivers.

Build paydown pf Pinglu (paid for itself) estimated to be done in 13 years. That is insane for something like a canal. Should have been started in 1980.

Interesting but do you also know how many people have and will suffer from this?? I think that's also important to tell. I live in this country and I know how ruthless they are here to their own people and I'm sure that hundreds of thousands people will suffer from this.
