Whatever gets you moving! This is a great way to start! Especially if it gets you out of the house, just stick to it. In a month try the jump rope again. You will see drastic improvement.

Just jumping, even without a rope, is still great exercise and burns a ton of calories.

As long as you're being active, you're doing good things for your body.

Keep at it girl. The only thing that can make you fail is if you quit. As long as you keep training sufficiently you are guaranteed to achieve your goal. It’s just a matter of time.

And anyone who offers anything but support has never lifted a weight or faced any adversity in their lives. Either silly kids or jaded adults that hate themselves and project it - use it as motivation “I’ll show them”.

People on here are so ignorant and discouraging, so don't listen to them. Regular ropes are good for coordination, foodwork and spatial awareness; but if you are not an athlete or have little space and can't jump outside, these can get a good option as the goal of cardio is to burn calories and jumping can help with bones and muscles and you don't even need equipment to just jump.

My advice, if you are going to use these is to get one that is weighted and have bigger balls on the end for more resistance which will be more beneficial than just jumping along and closer mimics a jump rope (unless you are using hand weights) and most decent ones will come with both a rope and cordless options to easily switch if you choose to. Just remember to keep moving, warm up and cool down, that is truly important along with working on your diet.

I feel like this was a waste of money because everybody jumps or hits the rope as a beginner that's why you keep practicing, I say it's a waste because a normal jump rope is cheaper and you get better hand to eye coordination.

A cordless jump rope is just as good as a workout as a regular jumping rope, I use one when I have little space but prefer a regular rope for my coordination.

No offence but the reason u keep tripping on a regular rope is bc u are holding the rope too high

hope this helps :D

What's the point of having no ropes? removing the challenge of coordination, you might as well just twist your wrists and jump without anything

I like these even though i can jump rope (it's one of the things im most confident in when it comes to being physical...) But i got these anyway cause i move too little and i dont have enough space at home for jumping ropes
But the one i bought also comes with longer rope so in case im able to, i can always switch hehe

The point of jumo rope is to improve your technique in footwork, this might as well be called like one commentor said, jump handles.

People will buy anything the purpose of a real rope is to correct you and make sure you jump and high enough It puts a little fire under your feet My God
