Calling shenanigans on the "no one here cause its 10am". Retired Fred was undoubtedly there and was being nice and left for your video. He had to pick up his meds from the Walgreens anyways. The doctor told him he shouldn't drink while taking his medication and to take a full glass of water, so only orders lite beer.

Oh wow, I've been handed dice randomly at the bar and told to roll, and somehow I got free shots. I had no idea what was going on 😂 it all makes sense now. Thanks for sharing!

Next up - sheep’s head. You’re the Kahn Academy for midwesterners and we love you for it. Keep ‘er movin’!

Never heard or played this before I visited friends in Winsonsin. This is some of the best fun I'd ever had. It's just about every where there. Played it in winter time and we were playing for apple pie shots. Good times

My dad owned a bar in northwest Wisconsin for thirty years. These bar dice games have brought back many memories of my childhood. Thank you for the nostalgic memories you brought me, and Keep ‘er Movin’!

I lived in Wisconsin for seven years, watched this played a hundred times, I never got it. And after watching this I still don't. But I appreciate knowing there IS a system in place.

My grandparents used to take my sister and I to supper clubs and local bars in Waupaca County to play dice and we would sit and drink Shirley temples. I spent more time in bars than School between the ages of 7 and 12. 😂

As a East Coaster living in Ohio and watching your videos, Midwest people are teaching me so much.

Good video. I won shake a day once in my life. Pot was won the day before. Only won $16. Had to buy a round for the tavern because I won, it was softball night, cost me over $50.

LOL my dad had a bar and i didn't even know how to play this, I'll never forget the sound of people just straight trying to slam that cup thru the bar tho.

Going to the bar with my mom after bowling, softball or volleyball league was one of the best educations an 8 year old could ever have. Brings back memories Charlie!

My last duty station was here in Oklahoma, and I tried teaching a bunch of them down here the bar dice game and all I got was funny looks.
So now we do it at my house with friends. Best way to kill an evening.

just remember, if you lose, you're buying shots for everyone involved. Best to know that going in, it's definitely a gamble

I don't drink and now that all my friends aren't in a band no more, I don't go to the bars.. but the part where you said a nice responsible adult, or your Dad, was funny😂😂

Moving to Colorado 40 years ago, I was like, “Where are the kids?” as I grew up going to bars with my dad or mom and dad and ordering a coke or cherry or orange soda. My own children from CO loved the family friendly WI bars and taverns on visits with my family. And then onto bar dice. Thanks for reminding me! It’s such a WI thing.

WI lifer. Saving this video for my out of state friends because it was so well explained! Best bars are WI bars. Not to be confused with nightclubs

I live in the midwest and seeing all this stuff is so funny, especially since it is so accurate.

As a wisconsinite I unironically learned bar dice at about ten while sipping pops while the old man slugged beer.

I’m dying because back in the 90’s I learned how to play Euchre in a bar in Rhinelander because my parents and their friend needed a fourth player. I think I was 8 or 9 at the time! Wisconsin bars, especially in the north woods are the best place to be any night of the week. From a Hoosier who misses his summer vacation spot.
