Hawke is carrying that dagger for her. She uses it when they are alone. That dagger is just too THICK and HARD to be used in combat

What i like about this is the gameplay and mostly the banters of ur companion like aveline and isabella or merill and isabella and i like the comedic dialog between varric and hawke

DA2: a mediocre video game with Godly writing

All in all I love the more character focused games from BioWare (like ME2) and scenes like these are the reason why it's awesome.

You really feel like they're just a bunch of friends hanging out and going on adventures, instead of lapdogs who just exist to serve the player
