WHAT IF ISABELA TURNED AGAINST HER FAMILY AFTER BEING FORCED TO MARRY MARIANO?

In this alternate universe Isabela married Mariano and lives a life of suppression and conformity because of the arranged marriage that was forced upon her. After never being able to express her feelings or choose her own path in life, Isabela has now reached her breaking point. Her mind sinks into a dark place as she thinks about everyone who has wronged her and did nothing to prevent the situation she is in. Isabela has always felt an immense amount of pressure for just being a Madrigal. She has endured far too much and now needs to free herself. She is done with making pretty flowers to please everyone, it's time for her to show them what it's like to feel the pressure...

Both of Isabela's Alternate Universe Songs form part of an Encanto Alternate Universe Mini Series that I have created within my main Alternate Universe Series. This mini series follows one alternate timeline in Encanto that started with Isabela's first Alternate Universe Song where she married Mariano. This event has a cascading effect that leads to the breakdown of the entire family. The dimming light of the miracle candle has a different effect on the gifts of the Madrigals in this AU Mini Series. The candle keeps their gifts stable so when it starts to dim, their powers begin to spiral out of control instead of fading away like they did in the movie🕯️🦋

Oh, this was absolutely wonderful! Isabela shows her growth and releases all of the anger and hatred she has had all this time. She even tells Dolores that she can have her man. Isabela had all right to be mad, especially about her grandmother. However, Mirabel never left her since she understood Isabela's pain and wanted to help her. I love how Isabel may have wanted to stop her, but she did not wish to harm Mirabel, leading to her vines receding to nothing but still free and tablet thinking straight with Mirabel at her side. The Surface Pressure song was perfect for the episode, but now DOlores seems to be pissed; the question is at who since I can imagine that Dolores wanted the house destroyed so she could be free of her curse, but Mirabel, Im not sure since Dolores didn't seem to hold no rage towards her. She may be upset that Mirabel got in her way to remove her 'gift' and try to kill Mirabel. Still, I say 11/10 stars and two thumbs way up!

I grinned so hard at Mirabel showing up and bringing Isa down with kindness, empathy and understanding. It IS fucked up that she's forced to live a life she doesn't want, married to a man she's, at best, lukewarm towards and she has a right to be angry and hurt about it. Dolores, however, doesn't seem to see it that way.
