ShaderED -- Excellent Shader Editor Free & Open Source

preview_player
Показать описание
ShaderED is a free and open source editor for creating GLSL and HLSL shaders. While we had previously covered ShaderED, it has since been updated to include a new plugin system, debugger and more. The new plugins include a new Godot shader language support as well as a tool for importing ShaderToy shaders easily.

You're the ultimate source of information about awesome pieces of software we'd hardly ever learn about. Many thanks! <3

I think I might start using this to teach shaders, that debug support is great!

Looks like a great program to learn to understand more about coding in general.
Although, shaders are very important also.
I'll grab that one.

What also would be interesting to see is how would one connect this tool with other engines like Unreal or Unity. I know you can add HLSL nodes in Unreal and then probably copy the code vom ShaderEd there. On the Unity side of things I'm not sure becaue I can't exactly remember which shader language they use. Are there any plans on covering this as well? If it's possible at all of course. Besides that: Really love your content. It's really helpful to keep up with this fast developing industry.

I hope it supports GameMaker:Studio's shader language soon, maybe as a plugin or a "how-to" guide to make this work for it.

I really wish they did a better tutorial on this tool cuz I literally don't know how to create and reset render targets with this event though I've been trying for days

Newbie question here: Are these shaders that you create in eg ShaderEd or Shadertoy usable in Blender somehow?
