Easily the best Superman story, in my opinion. Kingdom Come, Red Son and Secret Identity are also phenomenal. I can't wait to finally get this one as a Deluxe HC.

The conversion between Clark and Lex in prison is among my Absolute favorite parts of the book.

🤔 I think Ben contributed the cyclical Sun narrative idea, which is right on point. It was such a well flowing discussion; looking forward to next month.

This, Fourth World, and The New Frontier are the only Absolute's I am deadset on one day getting.
(Maybe The Killing Joke too, since it's like the only way to get the original colors in larger print, but Idk. And also Kingdom Come.)
This story and New Frontier are both some of my favorite comics ever, and made me get back into comics again.

A classic Superman story that evokes the creativity and absurdity of Silver Age stories based around the 12 labours of Hercules. Morrisson and Quitely's tale evokes the humanistic and hopeful aspects of Superman.
