As a young lawyer myself (not a criminal lawyer), I found myself cringing every time the defense counsel spoke and I found myself nodding in agreement during the prosecution's submissions. He stuck to his guns and kept re-directing the judges back to the crux of the matter: nothing that the defense alleges impacted the jury's decision to convict Arias. She is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I love how the prosecution said that we cannot simply reverse every case in which a high profile defendant is convicted and use the media as a reason. That was a very strong point to end on. I truly hope this appeal is dismissed as soon as possible so that Travis' family can finally rest. May Jodi continue to rot in prison.

Juan Martinez was an amazing prosecutor who believed in her guilt and wanted to stop her manipulation and her blaming of the victim, claiming self defense in a clear case of pre meditated murder and overkill. There is so much overwhelming evidence of guilt that it is ridiculous that she should expect a mistrial. No more time should be wasted on this evil individual especially given the fact that when finally speaking about her part in the killing, she tells the court that Travis was alive during the throat slitting, as if just to inflict more pain to the family. Throw away the key. No more attention for this monster.

New trial... if she does get a new trial can she answer to the last thing she said before heading off to prison which was "I remember slitting travis's throat and he WAS CONSCIOUS." She remembers how she killed him. A "fog" never existed. That will surely get her the death penalty at a new trial. No remorse.

This whole thing is DISGUSTING! This ANIMAL Hodi outright SLAUGHTERED a human being--in HIS house where HE paid the bills. He had NOT wanted that ANIMAL showing up at his house in the first place. She was TOTALLY jealous that Travis had moved on and was NOT taking her to Cancun (like THAT was going to New Zealand--LOL). This ANIMAL Hodi needs to realize that she's in prison because of her own actions and she is NEVER getting out! This is absolutely ridiculous. What a joke. Screw that evil murderous monster and her stupid appeal. Of course they go and attack Martinez. Martinez was right about Arias’s defense experts: they were clowns. What bothers me is the fact that people (in favour of Arias) attack Martinez for his aggression during the cross examinations of defense witnesses, while they completely overlook the fact that those same defense witnesses mostly either dodged his questions or failed time and again to answer them (e.g. Martinez’ “yes/no” questions: when you can’t answer a question with yes or no, then say so and do not start blabbering *cough LaViolette*).

At 4:37 Ms. Engles lies by saying Mr. Martinez called "one of the witnesses testimony" contaminated filth. JM did NOT say her testimony was contaminated filth, he said it was contaminated and that it was foul. That's a HUGE difference, so if it took only approximately 4 minutes for the defense to lie in this appeal, it goes to show the depths of the lies throughout the entire trial on the side of the defense.
