Couldn't agree more on collaborative distribution . In India, food delivery companies such as Swiggy & Zomato (which has acquired the Uber Eats division couple of months ago) are delivering not only food, but also pivoting to deliver the essential items (such as groceries, fresh vegetables, meat & medicines) hyperlocally. One can also avail these services to pick up and drop documents & small business items (again hyperlocally) as India is on a lockdown since 24th March 2020 till 3rd May 2020 and all forms of logistics are on a standstill.

Thanks for the time and effort.

What roll can someone with a degree in Operations Research do to aid the Supply chain crisis at the moment.

I'm a grad student and there are a bunch of ideas flowing through my mind but I am struggling to see what will be feasible and what not.

How would you suggest I spend my time at home aiding the supply chain to give them the right information to make better decisions.
