I've been working on bikes since I was old enough to use a wrench. This is an awesome video. It has just enough detail that the average rider needs to know, and nothing more. Great work!

REI? Man you guys let me down? All I needed was a through bolt for a dumb trainer? And it took three people at REI to tell me sorry we don’t have it?

I'm a casual bike rider, but wanted to know more about the components on my bike to watch for deficiencies. This gal knows her stuff. She was excellent--very clear, precise and understandable. Thank you for this video

Haven’t used a bike in SO long and this is exactly what I was looking for. Everyone keeps using these terms for parts of the bike but never point to it. THANK YOU

Semi-pro tip: When you remove the tube, don't remove yet or move the tire around the rim. Figure out on the tube where the puncture occurred, then bring the tube back to the wheel, line up the valve stem with the valve hole in the rim: you can now narrow down the area to search for the cause of the puncture to wherever the location of the puncture on the tube lines up to on the tire.
Note that unless you tracked the orientation of the tube, there are _two_ candidate locations on either side of the valve, when you flipflop the tube over.

Any avid cyclist must become a bike mechanic. I saved tons of money and time making my own repairs and upgrades.

Can you do a video about what gears are better for different kinds of rides like 10-36 or 11-32, as well as how more gears can be added to existing hubs due to spacer by manufacturers?

Kat thank you very much for your time buddy. It is much appreciated. I had forgotten so much since I last rode a bike. It was a great refresher for sure. Awesome work.
