2:20 Australian, Canadian, British, etc. social medicine all suffer from the same flaw. In order to keep health care from bankrupting the country they restrict compensation for doctors. As a result, fewer people become doctors. Which means longer wait times. In the US the AMA is complaining because the average wait time between a doctor referring you to a specialist (like an orthopedist) and actually seeing the specialist is over 3 weeks. But in Canada, across the border, the average wait time is nearly 7 months!!!

I've made four trips from the US to Thailand this year. It's a horrendous slog. I've learned that by the time I'm there, I think I'm doing pretty well, but in fact I'm way below 100%. So, I have to be careful in terms of physical activity, how I respond to others, etc. I'm just not myself for a few days. I wish it weren't so darned far away.

I think it is okay to build a small house on your wife property but I would not overspend as it will never be your house or property. Hire people in the village to do the work and buy materials in local hardware store to help them. They will appreciate that you are helping them.

Very different cultural my gf can get mad at me and I don’t realise what I have done often socially such as I’m too loud or my phone to loud or the way I hand money over etc and Thai like to express their emotions through moods swings and games of love hate love, cute and trusting but you have to adjust bin your understandings and behaviour if you want then to appreciate

I find it difficult to understand why the couple can't find balance when it comes to the two different cultures. Although you are living in her country and you respect her culture, why is it so difficult for her to show you that same respect. You have chosen her and she has chosen you and surely sophisticated conversation would lend priority to understand that this union will be different and both cultures recognized and respected in the household. It seems the foreigner loses something significant and surely that is a strain on the marriage or relationship.

alsow have that back pain problem, so im so nervus about if my back goes worse, by a long flight, for here i never sitt, i walk and stand and lay ewery day, and minimum medisine, løwest fore manny years, i been on løng pain patch and so and quitted. im nervous abaut a fligr for 15 ours, but you can medicate, and moestly stand on the plane. That probobly maces it canary islands only 5.5 ours for me. when i have the posibillity to pay a asia winter, my trapist recomended, winter in sout. i have to find out, were to buy the ticket, maybe also to hot fore me, Best wishes for the back pain - i know wath it is.!
