I did not know the difference between damp proofing and water proofing. Very important information.

How can this waterproofing be done after the fact. Eg, the house is above ground but the garage entry is on but the back end of the garage..backs up to dirt. when it rins, water trickles down and seeps out the garage wall. Can I apply this waterproofing directly on the wall & wall seams and keep garage dry ? thx

From my experience, as long as the floor is 8" above the footing there would be no need to worry about that point where the wall meets the footing. As long as the waterproofing/ Dampproofing reaches the bottom of the wall it should be adequate for most situations.
