KBs should be something in everyone’s home gym. They’re so versatile. I use them at least 3 times a week.

One of my favorite movements is the technical standup with a KB. It’s the first part of the Turkish getup. With one arm flat on the mat and the other arm holding the KB perpendicular to the ground, you punch up, come to the elbow and then to the hand and stop. You lay back down and do this from a dead stop. Similar principle to the box squat. *I make it a point to come to a complete stop before exploding into the next rep. I don’t want to bounce off of the ground. Make every rep intentional.*

Sweet. I need to step up the kettlebell game to keep up with all the shaved chimp twenty year old blue belts. They don't get tired, goddamn. The military should recruit at BJJ schools...
