As a domestic violence survivor, this song hits hard, you get a new relationship and slight things he does, puts you right back in that situation, a raised voice, sudden move, I had to remind my other half to let me know when hes coming in the kitchen because if i dont see him behind me and he starts talking, makes me jump and hot sweats and yeah, PTSD baby, its a fun rollercoaster of enjoying the safety of this new person but still thinking " hes going to hit me" when he raises his voice.

The urge to be single sometimes hits hard, give up on this relationship and be safe, alone but safe if that makes sense.

Rob Thomas is incredible I love him!! The band is so good. I love his single work also. I think I have every song he has sung lol, (Even with Santana). There is something special about his lyrics and his vocals...he really gets it.❤️ You should definitely listen to more of any of his songs, he's sooo talented!

Love this band! I saw a solo show by Rob Thomas in Idaho lots of years ago. There were maybe 500 people in a small venue. It was amazing!
