Good review man - I like the free association and lax attitude. Good feedback on what social media has yielded. I’m considering this bike. Former Harley owner. They make the bikes easy to ride, they are over priced but hold better value than most bikes. Americans are not big on safety because we never think past whatever emotion we are having right now :/

A lot of the reasons I sold mine are mentioned here... but I do find it is the only bike I have ever missed after getting rid of. I am considering replacing it with the HD XR1200.

cool review, I think you could have sped up at a few points or slow down then sped up but it was cool, funny commentary, try the triumph speed twin, curious what you think and how that would compare to this, I like how this bike looks but feel that maybe cornering would be iffy, not like I want to drag knees all the time but I also dont want to think, dont scrape the pegs either while im riding.

Agreed - wear sensible safety gear - skin take ages to heal.

Same here, riding with people who don't have proper gear, and I don't know them, makes me nervous. That ride looked like a cluster.

Would you reccomend this as a second bike? I had a cb300f for 7 months, and it got stolen this morning. I can only drive motorcycles so i gotta make a quick decision.

In Germany all riders with have taken a very thorough bike test.

I cut my teeth on a '93 XLH.  I prefer the buckhorn bars of that bike as to the drag bars of the '00 XLC I had.
