Prehung Interior Door Installation - How to install your own doors!

Learn how to install a prehung interior door - it's easier than you think!

In this situation we had to modify the prehung door and door jamb/frame to fit the opening since our local building supply store didn't have stock of the exact size we needed for this project. The good news is that prehung interior doors can be easily cut and modified to fit a number of different sized openings.

Tools used to install the door:
- tape measure
- pencil
- cutting table and clamps
- wood glue
- skill saw
- nail gun

awesome job. but try doing this with a door that costs $1000 and walls made of brick/concrete, which are uneven and about a foot thick. also, imagine the door frame is not as wide, but, let's say, abt 3 inches wide and made not of wood but of mdf. on top of that, imagine the floor is uneven (which u didn't check for btw). and finally, imagine u'd need to mortise both the hinges and the lock set place yourself. i'd love to see a video like that 😅
