I love how some of these are so smooth they almost look as natural as if they weren't reversed lol, like getting Nelson to guard the locker or sealing Dud behind a great big airlock

This is like those movie scenes where the protagonist defeats the antagonist, then there's a montage of all the people the antagonist affected returning to normal. Here, however, is a montage of everyone in Springfield imprisoning the now defeated Dud/Duds.

The Dud has been stopped, whether or not it'll return...we'll have to wait and see.

This was somewhat comforting to watch after watching the original "you got the dud", and i was able to go to sleep knowing that everyone in Springfield had finally been able to break the curse of the dud.
