Icosahedron - Easy in Fusion 360 - No Math or Angles

This is a short video of me designing a regular icosahedron (platonic solid) in Fusion 360.
Using no math or angles, making the software do all the "hard" work.
The model is parametric in that there is only one dimension, then changing the dimension in the first sketch the final solid body updates.

This is also know as the D20 dice.

Hope this is useful for you out there :)

Thanks! Really Enjoyed that. I love how so many people solve these issues in so many different ways. But I especially like how your brain went about this one.

Hey, thank you very much for producing this series. I'm modeling a dice display stand in fusion and this was extremely helpful!

The only thing that I couldn't do was to add the dimension from 2:25 it gives me an error that I can only use a 'driven' dimension that I cannot change because the points are over-constrained. Any idea why?

Hey, I'm currently modeling some dice and stumbled on your platonic solids videos which are an excellent resource! The only dice shape that I can not find in your videos is the d10 or the percentile die. I am aware that the common shape of a d10 is not a platonic solid, but do you think you could make a video on how to make one of those?

Hey nice video, helped me ! But what's the shortcut you use to do the " ctrl+f " in F360 ?

What was the measurement shortcut you used in the first sketch? Thanks! Love the video.

How much would have to change in order to make a d40 dice? Thank you so much
