My way of creating a Geodome in this case the 4V Icosahedron.
I'm using only one dimension and then geometry and Fusion 360 to create the body.
Not the easiest workflow but I hope it's helpful for some of you :)

Very nice and clean made. Easy steps, to follow. For me was very interesting to see the way you use loft, I never thoughts to make a triangle using the loft option

Very, very nice. I do not totally understand the backgroud of projecting the base pentagon (first sketch) to the shell of the sphere (second sketch). i.e. why is the first straight construction line constraint to the middle of the pentagon and the outer circle and how is does this construction defines the right position? for me it is magic. Could you explain more?

Is it posable to connect these domes/spheres in a pill shape? How do the triangles distort?

Question:
After creating, do you have a way of printing to a csv file the X, Y, Z coordinates of each point?
Also, can you consider doing a truncated polyhedron with
12 Pentagons and 20 Hexagons?

You did that a bit too easy, obviously that can't be right;), I had been mucking about for ages with that. I could reverse engineer other models but couldn't start from scratch, now it's basically parametric, except as you mentioned some of the lofts break, but that's an easy fix. Excellent content as always, thanks for sharing.

Agreed, at times I'm dumbfounded with/by the "order of operations" (if that's a possible descriptive syntax to use? lol) occasional mysterious results with Fusion 360. 😃

Hi, I'm very happy with your video, they helped me a lot, thank you very much :) I made 2V and 4V geodomes with Inventor and everything went well and I'm very happy and a big thank you :) But I have a request, maybe you can make another geodome 3V and 5V, I would be very happy and grateful to you, and I think not only me :)

The helper line you create at 4:50 and beyond: shouldn't that line go exactly through the middle of the arc created by the two points on the sphere?
