Hello my friends! Today I’d like to share with you my Clomid (an ovulation drug) story. I have PCOS and have struggled with infertility due to lack of ovulation. I took clomid and was worried about the side effects, and boy did I get them! Clomid left me feeling sick, gain weight, and extremely painful ovulation. But was it worth it? Did I get a baby? Multiples? Find out now! 😊
I am a stay at home mama to a sweet baby girl, and wife to an amazing husband. I also have several chronic illnesses (see below). I am passionate about sharing my story to help those suffering like I do. I have a degree in health education and I am certified in nutrition, chronic disease, and health promotion.

I recently got diagnosed with PCOS and made a video of my own as well. It’s definitely hard to talk about but something that’s needed to be done. Thanks for being an inspiration!

Thanks for being so honest, I also have PCOS. I just got diagnosed about 3 months ago and I’m still lost on a lot of stuff. So your videos are really helpful 💕

I am so sorry for your losses ❤️ I have PCOS too. We tried for 2 years with our oldest and I know it was because I didn’t ovulate regularly or even at all most times. I was on clomid a few months but quit because I didn’t like how it made me feel and I hate synthetic hormones too. I did a ton of research...and realized PCOS is greatly affected by chemicals and hormone disruptors we put in our body. Pretty much any beauty products. I cut out all the chemicals I used on myself and cleaning and all processed foods. I ate only organic everything even canned foods. I was pregnant within 2 months of that drastic lifestyle change. My doctor didn’t tell me any of that... only not too exercise much because with PCOS I already had too much testosterone and exercising only increases that and makes it harder to ovulate. For my second child I was not doing any of those lifestyle changes but was using and still use essential oils (geranium and clary sage) topically on my pelvic area. If I forget to use them my cycle gets off. It’s crazy how well they work for me to regulate. Also, PCOS tends to get better with age! This is just my experience and I know everyone’s body is different but I love sharing what I’ve learned to help control it in case it helps someone else! Great video!

I have never met anyone with similar issues. I too have PCOS, Hashimotos and struggle with infertility. Thank you for sharing your story. It helps me feel less alone and that there is hope to have a baby. 💕

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Birth control really threw my hormones off. Praying for you. 💕

This video is really helpful to us who have PCOS. I am taking also clomiphene (this is my 2nd month taking it) the first one I thought i was pregnant because of the symptoms i experienced but i got my period yesterday and all i did was cry the whole night. so hoping this 2nd month taking the clomiphene will be a success. We are still hoping. 🙏

I have HORRIBLE ovulation pain every few months. It didnt start until my infertility did which was about 6 years ago. I did take clomid like 5 years ago but wasnt successful and then conceived our son naturally in 2017. I am starting clomid 100mg in a few days which is why I searched and then found your video. I also had a slew of chronic illnesses and do not react well to hormones so we shall see how it goes!

I had the same symptoms. However my doc started me out with 100mg and after two cycles I quit! I have the third cycles Rx in my purse due to the fear of having those severe side effects again. I do ovulate on my own so I pray my baby some soon.

I would definitely NEVER do clomid again. I did ovulate - tons - and then ended up hyper stimulated and lost my right ovary. It was scary and I almost died. But then I got pregnant two times 😱 and miscarried. Then I had three babies in a row. I hope you have your rainbow baby soon. It’s such a terrible journey.

I def had these “Clomid crazies” it has been the worst thing I’ve ever mentally went through. It has affected my career and friendships which triggers the anxiety and depression more! Thankfully my husband understands and doesn’t take it personal lol. But it is a sacrifice I’m willing to make to hopefully finally conceive after 10+ years of trying.

Thank you for sharing your journey. Can you share how does a cyst eruption feel like? Also, how do you know you have a chemical pregnancy? Thank you

I am now 34 and have been trying to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years. I have been told that its possible I have endometriosis I have to schedule a surgery to find out. I have always felt my ovulation but being on the clomid I have gained weight, I'm super emotionally sensitive and much more depressed ( I want to just cry all the time). My ovulation pains are so extreme now my abdomen is sore and bloated for several days after. I have had one chemical pregnancy (miscarriage) I have been trying to find answers for over 2 years for my infertility I am hoping that I will finally get my chance with this laparoscopy surgery and finally get the family I have been praying for.

Hi Aimee just wondering how did you find out if you were not ovulating? Is It from scans or blood work? Is there a way to tell without these?
