Lane County 4-H is a community of young people learning citizenship, leadership, and life skills.
4-H learning takes place in 4-H Community Clubs led by volunteer adult leaders. Each 4-H Community Club has multiple volunteers to lead the various project groups within the club.
In the four years after voters passed a levy to fund OSU Extension in Lane County in 2016, 4-H youth enrollment rose by 45%, 4-H adult volunteer enrollment increased by 55% and youth enrollment fees decreased by 30%. The number of fair exhibitors increased by 77%.
