I HAVE AN ANSWER FOR OLIVIA'S QUESTION!! In the first years of minecraft endermen weren't purple they were green with eyes of ender! They didn't need blaze rods to make the eyes of ender. Back then endermen were capable of picking up all blocks but the were hunted down for there eyes, thats why they hate eye contact, endermen now don't want to lose their eyes!
