'Matlock' star Kathy Bates

She speaks my grief of my own mom: "She has my life." My Mom gave up so much too. A gorgeous woman who could've had a pampered life. But she raised 10 kids solo after leaving an abusive marriage. She worked her beautiful hands to the bone and the stress eventually killed her brain. Fewer heroes have I ever seen. Every joy I've lived has been for us both.
