I went on a Tinder date at the end of 2021. She was around a 3-4/10 (overweight, short, bad skin, etc.). Bear in mind that I was at LEAST three points better looking than her. I would NEVER have approached her irl in a million years, but alas, this is Tinder.

However, on the date, she acted disinterested and gave one worded answers. The next day, she texted to say that she couldn't see us dating. It was so brutal. I was only looking for a short-term hookup, really.

I learned a valuable lesson that day: Never date a woman you're not really attracted to and don't lower your standards.
