There has never been another born performer like Michael Jackson! I’ll never forget seeing him & the Jackson Five on tv for the first time. I thought to myself, where did this little kid with a HUGE talent come from? He was the youngest in the band, but he made the band! He had so much charisma with his fly dance moves & a killer voice. He looked so at ease, as if he had years of experience performing. He went on to take the world by storm. There has never been another MJ and there never will be! His passing was an extreme loss for the music and dance community. We will always remember him for his groundbreaking talent.😔

It’s hard to explain to people born since Thriller just how huge it was. No Facebook, no YouTube, less media and no reality TV et cetera meant there were a lot less ‘stars’ around then than there are today, and so those few people that were famous then were famous in a mega way that young people today just can’t comprehend. Newspapers and showbiz columns had a few dozen people to report on compared to thousands now.
