I ride a 2014 Heckler R. Santa Cruz should bring it back. It does everything.

I bought my ex a first gen Heckler as a engagement gift back in the 90s. Plenty of other iconic US bikes, the Intense M1, then SC Nomad, Cannondale Super V, the original Canfield Jedi (high pivot idler from long ago).

Which country has the biggest names I wonder? USA with TREK, specialized, Yeti, Intense, SC and IBIS? Canada with Rocky, Kona, Norco, Chromag, Devinci, Forbidden etc? UK with Canyon, Nukeproof, Deviate… rest of the world.. mondraker, YT, orbea, propain, Commencal etc

It's got to be Specialized out of that lot

The term "American" is subject to only the designing. Seems all bikes are made overseas now. Maybe the likes of some boutique brands (Allied, Maybe Alchemy, REEB, and so on). Certainly the "icons" have been around for a long time and will go on for much longer for sure.

Disappointing video that’s just a sales pitch of modern bikes with the same model name.
