I got one of these (2017 Latitude edition) for my 19 year old son and it is such a fun little thing to drive. It has all of the options we care about and is so easy and fun to drive, with surprisingly good speed, and surprisingly lots of space inside. I find myself taking his Renegade to the store often instead of my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited or my 2017 Ford Explorer Sport (Both of which I also love to drive). I am strongly considering getting a 2019 Trailhawk with max options because it is so much fun to drive, with all of the options available that I care about, and everything brand new at such a great low price!

We looked at a 2018 when shopping for my wife's vehicle late last year. Considering the price of the model we drove, we expected a bit more premium riding vehicle. Biggest gripe was the Renegade has a rather 'rubbery' suspension with a lot of rocking side to side on broken pavement, the 2018 Crosstrek we ultimately leased road much smoother, yet absorbed large bumps and dips that you'd encounter with light off-road driving much better than the Renegade.

Great little Jeep!
Love the minor upgrades. I'm loyal to my modified '97 TJ, but I always get a kick out of watching these things go offroading in Moab out of the box, or with bit larger tires.
