Beautiful ! Very inspiring ! I just bought a range of Sennelier oil pastels. I am not used to oil pastels and I want to try painting some portraits with them. This demo is very useful. Thanks for sharing.

The stick seem so unmanageable . But you don’t seem to be having much trouble. What happens when you lose those edges? What paper are you using?
I see paper is Clairefontaine. Is it smooth, it has to have some tooth?
It also seem you must blend with your fingers all the time. Not sure what I am watching . Your certainly adept and experienced.
I would like to see what you do when the sticks are worn? And rounded.
