Love you Elizabeth, I literally never comment on any YT videos but you've been making me feel so understood these past 6 months. I never found anyone who I could completely relate to on YT, but now you're here and I feel it's easier to accept myself knowing there's others similar to me! Thank you for creating content!

Cannot agree more. Watching bodies of water prevents me from overthinking into a large scaled panic attack! I usually have wave sounds in the back while I work too. Loved this video!!!

Imo, meditation is a practice of observing your mind, that means allowing your thoughts to flow, like how water flow in a river. Then let go of the thought that comes up. It’s not really about stopping yourself from thinking anything, but to observe your thoughts and pass no judgement to those thoughts in the process. I meditate for 20 minutes a day and it honestly helps me to be more mindful of the now, rather than feeling depressed about the past or feeling anxious/ worried about the future. Nice video!! I’d like to try out a floatation tank someday.

Reacting to the point of feeling like time goes by so quickly when you're doing a lot of things: I honestly feel that when I look back on my life so far, the periods that have been filled with new and exciting experiences, feel so much more significant and in a sense "slower". I remember those times more vividly and remember how I felt, even in short moments. I feel like time seems to be speeding up because as you get older, you usually start falling into a pattern and the weeks, months and years seem to blur together. Slowing down is good of course, but I think it should go hand in hand with (gently) leaving that comfort zone from time to time and live.

If you like the weight of sensory deprivation, I would recommend a weighted blanket! It’s excellent for anxiety and sleep in my experience and gives a similar feeling of containment. They’re fairly cooling too to the body because of the glass beads. You can even pair it with a weighted eye mask for more sensory deprivation.

I definitely love to look at bodies of water whenever I can, it just completely takes over and nothing else really comes to mind! I also love drinking tea outdoors in the fresh air, so calming...
