Hi, I just wanted to say, from personally being someone who was hooked on heroin and meth for 12 long years.... I've been sober now 2 years and 3 months this month. I have my family back and I've created a life that I love more than I ever did the drugs. This song has touched my heart in so many ways ill never be able to explain. Plus I listen to it every day and it helps keep my faith in this cause we call recovery. Thank you for your music. It's an understatement to say that it's just inspiring ♡ much love.

It took so long for me to grasp this. "Truly trusting in God" I never could. I had to give up control and stop fighting against him too.. tbh I'm still learning, trying.. not 💯 but getting better with putting my trust in him. And it's honestly amazing. 33yrs later and my stubborn self finally started listening to the teacher. I wish, years ago that i lost those spirits of pride, rejection and control. Weight lifted! I'm very grateful to finally be able to start feeling genuine spiritual peace.. first time in years, TONIGHT, I'm getting to feel it. Praise God!

It's not going to be easy, the stronger the calling on your life, the stronger the demons try to trick you. The fights on.. but if you can fully give yourself to Father God, in every aspect, put your trust in him and stay scripture'd up... You gonna make it bro! U got this!

I went into a discipleship for recovering addicts last summer. I feel I was cheated out of the full experience there and I doubted my salvation and I cried myself to sleep every night, then I found this song and tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy because I knew I was sober and strong I was living right finally and I was free. He hears my prayers and even now when I feel alone this song reminds me where I came from and that I'm never alone
