Heavy is the most used and complexed scouse slang word. It can mean very good as in ‘ah that burger was heavy’. It can also mean really bad as in ‘Ah lad heavy ive broke my legs’. So it works in complete opposite ways

This is very odd, as a Manc, but she became fitter when she put the Scouse accent on.

When I lived in North Wales, which is close to Liverpool, people said Ta-ta, I thought, not Ta-ra and I often heard "That's doing my head in" and "go ahead". Never ar kid nor jib that off.

UEFA Champions League is my continent, English Premier league is my country, Liverpool is my district, Mercyside is my neighbourhood and Anfield is my home. You'll Never Walk Alone is my anthem, and Jurgen Klopp was my prime minister. This is me, a scouser born in a Malaysia and I'm here to learn the language that my club speaks. YNWA.
