'Brassic' comes from Cockney rhyming slang - Boracic Lint meaning skint. Boracic lint is a type of medical dressing made from surgical lint that is soaked in a hot, saturated solution of boracic acid and glycerine and then left to dry. It has been in use since at least the 19th century. Great vid hope this helps.

Hello Gino! I'm Polish, i Love everything Has to do with English and try hard to learn on upper intermediate lvl. the younger generation in Liverpool have started saying Lad instead of Lar which annoys me as lar was unique to Liverpool you can hear Lad anywhere! also you don't hear Brassic much anymore or Grid sounds like old 60's/70's slang
