Thanksgiving - George Winston

The holiday season is upon us! I should have probably released this song before Thanksgiving, but it's from George Winston's 'December' album and I just associate it with the holiday season in general. Also starting this Monday is the official countdown to Christmas, and I'll have 10 days of Christmas songs for you filled with your requests, with this years Christmas playlist released on Christmas Eve Eve (Dec 23 😁). Hi Jessie! This a beautiful tune as always and wanted to share with you my Thanksgiving experience! My only living grandparents on my mom's side recently moved here and have been across the country for my entire life. We have spent various holidays and past summers together here and there, but this Thanksgiving in 2021 was the very first I've been able to spend it with them and it was my favorite Thanksgiving I've ever had! The bittersweetness of it though is that my grandma went into the hospital a few days afterwards and is still hospitalized with a serious spinal infection. I pray that she is able to get through this time, but no matter what, I'm so grateful I got to spend the most special favorite thanksgiving with her and I now consider this song a special tribute to her! ❤️🙏🎶
